Finally canceled my World Of Warcraft account

It was a more than 2 years long fun and nice ride, PvP and PvE, and I am still amazed about the energy and the "life" boiling under the world of Warcraft. WoW is an amazing universe but something is missing, and I can't describe the feeling. Playing WoW lately is not the same thing as it used to be; probably it's too easy? It is the time to move on and focus on the things I like more; family and friends, iPhone and Java development, open source, cooking and yoga, and probably helping my wife to build her own business :)

To all the WarCrafters out there: I salute you, and probably we'll meet again in the years to come!

Listen to your customers, not your competitors.

This entry has nothing to do with Java. It is just a reminder for all of us to stay focused on things that matter - the title says it all.

Joel is an inspiration for many of us (he doesn't like Java, although he never had the chance to use JPublish), and while browsing (again) through his older articles, I found an advice that's so accurate:

"Listen to your customers, not your competitors."

Words of wisdom for days like these!

re: About the Death of the Working Hours

I fundamentally disagree with the idea that a software development team should be constrained to working 9 to 5. Most software developers don’t even have that luxury, working overtime to compensate for all the mistakes people like Fred Brooks told us about some decades ago. In this post, I’d like to pretend more of ...

I cannot agree more and two thumbs up for the article!
